In this 3 day class you will learn to knit full gloves using fingering weight yarn, in men or women's size, with a beautiful knotted cable pattern on the wrists. Nicole will show you how to follow the cable pattern as a chart, and also knit each finger and hand circumference sizes appropriately, using magic loop method or double pointed needles. Skill Level: Intermediate Skill Details: Must know the basics of knitting to take this class (cast on, bind off, knit and purl stitches). Preferably comfortable with knitting in the round. Requirements: - Yarn: ~ 400 yards of fingering weight. - Needles: US 2 (or size to attain gauge) 32" long circular needle (for magic loop) recommended, but may use DPNs as well. - Pattern: Knotty Gloves, by Julia Mueller (available for free through Ravelry). - Notions: Cable needles, stitch markers, scissors, waste yarn.
