Using Nicole's own pattern, she will walk you through knitting the bag with 100% wool yarn, show you how to felt it, and add a unique touch by applying another hand-made decoration with needle felting techniques. This is the perfect quick and easy type of project that you will want to make over and over for yourself and for others! Skill Level: Intermediate Skill Details: Must know the basics of knitting to take this class (ie. cast-on, knit and purl stitches, bind-off). No prior felting experience needed. Requirements: - Yarn: 600 total yards of worsted weight or chunky 100% wool or alpaca yarn (ie. any yarn that will felt; not superwash or blends that will not felt). May use 2 colors: 400 yds of main color and 200 yds of a contrast color. - Needles: US 13 (9mm) circulars 16 inch long recommended. May need larger needles depending on yarn weight. - Pattern will be provided in class.
